DiagRA X 1.19.0.24 2/7/2024

MDF Marker
It is now possible to set markers during recording. Markers can be used to
highlight specific events in the measurement file so that they can be found
more quickly in post-processing.
- A marker consists of a timestamp and an optional comment. The prompt of a
comment can be switched on and off via the system settings.
- Markers can be set manually (via the top bar) or via event-triggered
actions.
- A marker is always added to all running recordings, including triggered
recordings.
- There are special markers that are automatically set by DiagRA X: E.g. in
the event of communication errors or when creating a support request.
Flashing
- Flashing is possible now, also if the device only has a working page and no
reference page.
- The checksum checks for code and data before flashing are now optional.
- Protocol settings: Added an option to ignore if the ECU responds with flash
programming being unsupported.
- Flash dialog: The state of the flash file is now updated directly after
loading.
XCP Cold Start
Cold start (XCP resume mode) allows to setup an ECU to start sending
measurement data on start-up.
- If supported by the .a2l file, a switch to activate cold start mode is
placed in the protocol tab of a source in the workspace setup.
- When cold start is active, upon starting measurement the DAQ lists are
transferred to the device and data acquisition starts on restarting the
device.
New Features
- Recordings: A running recording can be stopped and restarted without data
loss using the "Start new" function.
- A2L parser: Two new parser settings for enabling encoding detection and
ignoring missing includes.
- Activity Log: Associated events are now displayed in a hierarchical view.
Improvements
- System settings: Improved search function for interfaces and keyboard
shortcuts.
- Variable manager: Variable warnings have been enhanced with more detailed
information.
- Performance improvement: RAM utilization during measurement was reduced.
- Source settings: Show warning for the source, if GET_CAL_PAGE is not
supported.
- Visualizer: If no value is measured for a variable, the value "n/a" is now
displayed consistently and in the same style in all visualizers.
- Calibration map: The map's working point variables (X and Y values) can now
be deactivated although the map is used in the experiment. This way you can
save DAQ space if you don't need to see working point.
- Binary files: The dialog for importing binary files now shows all supported
file extensions.
- Activity Log: Columns are now resizable and shortcuts for opening were
added.
